The development of the land started back in 2002 just 3 years after the original hospital was closed and is now virtually complete after 6 years with the landscape being constantly maintained and further properties to be developed there will soon be over 600 homes within Napsbury Park
 
Today, our residents and visitors appreciate this legacy. The original buildings look as new as the ones being built currently and as we look forward to completion, we will also enjoy leisure facilities as our predecessors did. The new Cricket & Football pitches together with appropriate structures.
 
This will hopefully become available end of 2008. Further leisure facilities will follow. The landscape and some buildings are English Heritage listed which deserve to be cared for by our new community. New associations and opportunities for meeting others and occupying the young are hopefully creating a genuine neighbourhood indeed
